We're seeking an Interim Housing Disrepair Solicitor to join a large housing association in Manchester. You'll be responsible for managing and progressing a caseload of housing disrepair claims, providing expert legal advice to clients, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. This is a full-time, ongoing interim contract with the flexibility of hybrid working, allowing you to make an immediate impact.

Description

As an Interim Housing Disrepair Solicitor, you'll:

  • Manage a caseload of housing disrepair claims from inception to resolution.
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to tenants regarding housing disrepair issues.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.
  • Ensure all cases comply with relevant housing legislation and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all cases.

Profile

A successful Housing Disrepair Solicitor should have:

  • A Solicitor with a valid practising certificate.
  • Demonstrable experience in housing disrepair law.
  • Strong knowledge of housing legislation and tenant rights.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and effectively.
  • Experience in a fast-paced legal environment is preferred.
