Security Manager
Location: North East England
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Schedule: 1 in 4 weekends required
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Security Manager to join our Facilities Management team, working within a prestigious retail client in the North East of England. The ideal candidate will have prior managerial experience overseeing a team of at least 10 and must have substantial experience in the retail sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of security personnel, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to security protocols.
- Develop and implement security strategies to protect assets, employees, and customers within the retail environment.
- Conduct regular training sessions for the security team to maintain high standards of safety and security.
- Perform risk assessments and manage incident response and reporting.
- Liaise with the retail client to address security concerns and provide regular updates on security operations.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to security.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to support overall business objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven managerial experience overseeing a team of at least 10 security personnel.
- Extensive experience in the retail sector, with a strong understanding of retail security challenges and solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work 1 in 4 weekends as part of the schedule.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- SIA Door Supervisor licence
- CCTV licence
- Full drivers licence
