Senior Finance Manager

My client is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join their main site in Barnsley where they will be responsible for key financial tasks as well as mentoring and managing a small finance function.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is a great leader and has previous experience in mentoring individuals, further supporting their progressive career journey.

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Year-end financial accounts liaising with our external auditors.
  • Monthly board pack reporting including variance analysis and KPI testing.
  • Budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Preparation and processing of payroll, PAYE and pension contributions.
  • Key account reconciliations with particular focus on trade debtor and trade creditor management, managing cash flow.

Key requirements for this role:

  • Experience in a care/health industry
  • AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • Experience performing payroll
  • Experienced with Sage line 50
  • Ability to mentor and manage a small finance team
  • Positive, open attitude
