Traffic Manager

Walker and Sloan are proud to be working once again with a well known marketing agency in Cardiff, as they are keen to bring on board a talented Traffic Manager to the team on a full time basis.

What you will be doing:

  • Managing day-to-day progress of briefs through the creative teams.
  • Ensuring the smooth running and timely delivery of creative projects within the creative communications business.
  • Scheduling the creative workload to ensure all teams have sufficient resource and to ensure project deadlines are met and are managed to the right quality, timings and at the right price.
  • ?Attending and contribute towards scheduling meetings, support daily trafficking of workflow through the agency.
  • ?Coordinating the flow of collateral and production work, keeping relevant team members on track to project deadlines.
  • Managing allocated projection projects i.e. press, print, digital, radio, bespoke whilst dealing with internal resource and external suppliers
  • ?Briefing new production projects, ensuring that expectations are aligned, costings are prepared within allocated budget and ownership of project critical paths to manage internal expectations and meet deadlines.
  • Hiring and managing freelancers when extra resource is required.

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role, undertaking creative resource management in a marketing agency environment.
  • Someone who is highly organised, with experience in project management and resource planning.
  • A great communicator and team player, able to engage positively with colleagues of all levels and influence relevant stakeholders.
