We are seeking a Research Manager to provide high-level professional advice and support to the ongoing development and implementation of research strategies and innovation activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative services supporting research activities, including the development and implementation of research and impact strategy within the school(s). This role involves significant liaison with senior research management and requires a proactive approach to enhancing research activities and fostering impact-related activity.
Our priority is someone with experience supporting funding bids from UK-based academics to various academic research funding bodies. The role will be the first point of contact for academics in Politics & International Relations seeking advice on their applications and will be pivotal in creating funding application budgets, so familiarity with HEI costing models, funding guidelines would be hugely welcome
