Full Time 40 hours

Comberton, Cambridge

From £24,000 to £28,000 DOE

As a Contracts Administrator/Document Controller, you will ensure all allocated project team are supported, and achieve successful delivery of the customers' requirements.

Benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a generous pension contribution.

The successful candidate will, have good Microsoft knowledge, be strong communicator, have the ability to prioritise their own workload, plan work activities to meet deadlines and able to work under pressure. You must be commutable to Comberton, with own transport.

Although tasks will be varied, the key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Provide support and assistance to the contracts team.
  • Management of incoming documents and maintaining the filing structure and associated registers
  • Management of all outgoing documents and maintaining the filing structure and associated registers
  • Document control for all drawings, specifications, reports, quotations, memorandums, letters, electronic mail and the like
  • Assist in collating, consolidation, issuing and tracking of technical submissions.
  • Assist in producing and administering procurement schedules.
  • Assist in obtaining supplier and sub-contractor quotations.
  • Assist in compiling order request forms.
  • Assist surveyor in collating reports, payment certificates and variations.
  • Raise supplier and sub-contract orders as directed by the team.
  • Manage information transfer for production of O&M manuals.
  • Consolidate information from foreman, contract engineers & contract surveyor for inclusion in project monthly reports.
  • Assist in producing, populating and updating programme of works using Asta power project.
  • General office administration such as answering the phone, taking deliveries, stationary stocks etc.

Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will need experience working in a UK administration role, and be living in the Cambridgeshire area.
