My client is a leading construction-based organisation specialising in residential and regenerational development. Due to a period of sustained growth and projected expansion plans, they are now looking to recruit a new Group Procurement Manager. The role offers the opportunity for hybrid working.
Your new role
The Group Procurement Manager will be based in the corporate procurement team and will lead the strategic review of procurement-based policies and procedures across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include reviewing commercial agreements, and looking to develop collaborative supplier relationships to maximise competitive advantage. The Group Procurement Manager will partner area procurement and operational teams to implement changes, drive initiatives, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. The post holder will also play an integral role in the delivery of social value and sustainability targets. Additionally, the role will develop and deliver learning and development programmes for the national procurement team.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, it is essential that you are a Procurement Manager with strong experience in the construction sector, including house building and regeneration. You will have proven experience in developing and leading the implementation of strategic initiatives and driving procurement transformation within a large and multi-regional business. You will be highly commercial, have strong technical ability and have the ability to influence both internal key stakeholders and suppliers.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £70,000 to £85,000 plus car allowance and bonus. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop creative and innovative transformation initiatives to create a dynamic procurement function and ultimately impact the success of the business.
