We are working with a small company of 6 based in Chiswick Business Park and they are currently recruiting for an Office Assistant - this is a brand-new position in the company. We always love working for this company, however it's rare, due to their exceptionally low staff turnover rate which is testament to the excellent working environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain and update office files, databases, and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the relevant department in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and manage the cleanliness and organisation of the office.
  • Perform routine clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and emailing documents.
  • Input data accurately into spreadsheets, databases, and other systems.
  • Provide support to other staff members with various tasks and projects as needed.
  • Unpack, sort, and check incoming stock against orders and invoices.
  • Select and gather items for orders, pack items securely, and label packages accurately for shipping.
  • Keep track of stock levels and assist in stock takes and inventory audits.

Other details:

  • Fully office based, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
  • Private pension with a generous employer contribution of 8%
  • 23 days annual leave + bank holidays
