Job Title: Head of Asset Solutions
Location: Ipswich, Hybrid working
Remuneration: Day Rate (inside IR35)
Contract Details: Temporary - up to 12 months
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 5 individuals to deliver the installation and maintenance of electric vehicle charge point equipment and controls hardware
- Ensure excellent customer experience and adherence to HSE and regulatory requirements
- Identify and develop opportunities for growth in line with our ambitious plan
- Collaborate with Product Managers to implement product and customer experience designs
- Manage 3rd party technology providers, engineers, and installers to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery
- Identify and resolve potential risks and issues with 3rd parties and customers
- Plan and project manage implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of assets, including EV charge points
- Set budgets and manage expenditure against budget
- Coordinate contract definition with 3rd parties and customers for asset installation
- Monitor on-site asset performance and raise issues with providers
- Manage customer communication regarding installation, upgrades, and maintenance
- Identify and implement best practises to improve efficiency
- Deputise for the Energy Services Director as and when required
Skills:
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and develop growth opportunities
- Proven track record of performance management in a competitive environment
- Project management experience with the ability to multitask
- Experience in managing distributed energy generation projects
- Experience in managing 3rd party suppliers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to operate at a senior level and have a strong team ethic
- Culturally sensitive with a focus on market and customer needs
- Driven and determined mindset with the ability to find new ideas and resolutions
Measures of success:
- Successful project delivery within timing and budget
- High level of customer satisfaction with installation process
- Development of the team's skill set and ability to adapt to future needs
- Timely reporting on business performance
