Group Senior Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled individual in account and supplier management. This individual will have a high level of sales and commercial acumen and have the ability to be able to build strong and lastingsupplier relationships. The role will managekey supplier relationships at a Group level,driving incremental revenue and profit by optimising supplier contracts and relationships.

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned supplier, acting as the primary point of contact across the H&B Group. Ensuring that we maintain high operational standards and hit all KPI's.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue & EBITDA growth plus operational excellence.
  • Business Development: Identify new opportunities to create incremental value to H&B and our key supply partner. Ensuring that we build trust through how we deliver best in class service.
  • Account Growth: Proactively identify supplier needs and recommend solutions that enhance both businesses.
  • Commercial Acumen: Be able to confidently manage the P&L for each account and have the ability to be able to spot opportunities to increase profit
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams (marketing, trading/commercial, product development/innovation, international) to ensure success criteria are met.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and report against H&B and Supply Partner KPI's. Regular reporting on performance and actions, clear workstreams for each area of the business.

Location: Hybrid role with 2 days a week in Nuneaton head office.The candidate will be expected to travel to other hub locations as required by the accountabilities and requirements of the role.

The Person:

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior account manager, or in a highly commercial role such as buying, procurement, trading within a Retail, FMCG/CPG, Brand environment
  • Familiarity with sales performance metrics and data analysis.
  • Experience managing large account portfolios and supplier relationships
  • Experience working across global markets (preferable)
  • Strong customer service and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Highly organised and solution-oriented.
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritise.
  • Self-starter and able to work efficiently under pressure.
