Air Freight Operations Executive East Midlands - Onsite working £35,000 + Benefits
We're recruiting an Air Freight Operations Executive to join a rapidly expanding Logistics business. You will be customer focused, managing daily requirements and providing the best quality service - ALL while being enjoying the benefits of transparent progression routes, invested and supported peers and the stability of a thriving business.
What will I be doing?
A brief overview of the day to day:
- Prepare import clearance documents, track arrivals, manage duties/taxes, and arrange timely deliveries.
- Negotiate with suppliers, prioritizing client interests.
- Handle export customs entries, ensuring compliance with the in-house customs team.
- Oversee the entire air freight process, from documentation to final delivery.
- Manage all airfreight documentation, including collection notes, airwaybills, manifests, and delivery notes.
- Request and gather quotes from suppliers and partners.

What do you need?
- Strong experience working within Air Freight, solid understanding of a freight forwarding environment
- Experience in imports, exports and cross-trade
- IATA Dangerous Goods by Air knowledge is desirable
