We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Driver to join our team. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring materials are transported safely and efficiently within our facilities.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery in a safe and responsible manner.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, shelves, and storage areas.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet deadlines and productivity targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience as a forklift driver in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and warehouse procedures.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Good physical condition and coordination.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
