Elevation Recruitment Group are currently partnered with an engineering business in Rotherham who are recruiting a Quality Inspector. A small, precision manufacturer supplying to a variety of industries, this role will be to inspect, record & report in accordance with work instructions ensuring the highest level of quality across all their products.
This role will be days only with an early finish on a Friday.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Using a variety of inspection equipment (Micrometers, Height Gauges, Calipers etc).
- Operation of Faro Portable Measuring Arm.
- Inspection and recording of all relevant dimensions.
- Carry out calibration of equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- First Off Inspection.
- Contribute ideas to continuous improvement programs.
- Support the investigation of NCRs, corrective & Preventative Actions (CAPA) and Customer Complaints
I'm keen to speak to Quality Inspector's with the following skillset:
- Experience in precision environment
- Knowledge of CMM/Faro Arm
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in a similar role
