Job Title: Clinical Psychologist (Band 8a/8b)
Location: Prestwich Hospital, Northern Care Alliance
Contract: 6-month Fixed Term (ASAP start)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide highly complex psychological assessments and interventions for patients.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to support individuals with gastrointestinal conditions.
- Apply advanced clinical expertise to deliver specialized psychological care within a medical setting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: BSc in Psychology (or equivalent), plus a postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical, Counselling, or Health Psychology (or BPS Statement of Equivalence).
- Experience: Previous experience in a medical setting, ideally within MDTs and with a focus on gastrointestinal health.
