Business Administrator

Newly created Business Administrator job in the city centre of Bristol, the role is offered on a hybrid basis, you only need to attend the office once a week (compulsory) and the rest can be remote, of course you are welcome to spend more time at the office though!

It's a brand new role for you to scope out, it's permanent and can be offered on a full OR part-time basis, would suit someone who wants to work 10am-3pm 5 days a week, but if you're looking for longer hours over 3 days that can be considered.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you'll work collaboratively with both the finance and HR team to ensure smooth running of the business and offices.

You'll work cross functionally on different tasks and projects across this business, which might include organising a company event one day, managing the Bristol office and bringing in a new expense process the next. You'll build strong relationships and become the go to person for all things office, working space, events, expenses and more.

About you:

  • Genuine excellent IT skills, ideally with previous experience of using Google Suite
  • Experience working in a fast-paced business, this could be a varied background; such as administration, recruitment, payroll, customer support
  • Eager and flexible to take on a range of tasks in an ever-changing environment
  • Excellent communication written and verbal
  • Enjoy rolling up your sleeves and wearing many hats, unafraid to hustle
  • Take initiative in handling projects and anticipating needs
  • You are able to go to the Bristol office once a week!
  • You'll be proactive, confident and thrive at solving problems.

Typical duties will include:

  • Work with the finance team to ensure invoices are approved and processed manage company expenses
  • Arrange travel and accommodation
  • Manage office space in Bristol and make it a great place to work
  • Manage our remote co-working platform
  • Maintain company calendars, including organising whole of company meetings, agendas and organising learning sessions
  • Support the HR team with onboarding, new starter packs, and administration
