Posted by Michael Page Sales.

Our client is a leading, global Executive Search Firm looking to add a business development professional to the team.

It is not essential that you come with experience of having worked in & across recruitment, but you will be an experienced business developer with a consultative style, skilled at interpreting data, engaging with clients on far-reaching business concerns (such as hiring / attrition) and connecting the dots internally to support.

Client Details

Executive Search Firm operating globally with this role being based out of the London office. 20+ years operating.

Description

Our client is looking for someone to be the bridge between the firm and prospective clients. You will be engaging with clients and prospective clients to explore with them how the range of product & service offerings can best assist them when it comes to senior, executive level hiring.

This will mean that you are to interpret and analyse data provided to you by marketing teams in order to map out which markets you want to be penetrating, implement a strategy around what that market penetration needs to look like and be constantly connecting with stakeholders internally to make sure that the suite of offerings are aligned to what client's are looking for and market trends.

As business development roles go, this will be fairly operational and details on what sort of individual this will suit / experience needed is below.

Profile

Our client is looking for a consultative, experienced business developer who enjoys creating and implementing business development strategies, is skilled at engaging with clients and is naturally inquisitive.

You will be connecting with business leaders in order to discuss with them their hiring needs and you will be looking to understand their pain points.

Experience in recruitment / having worked for a Recruitment Consultancy / Executive Search Firm in a business development capacity is not essential but having an interest in this being a world you are to immerse yourself in is of course essential. Given that our client is an established Executive Search Firm, this means when engaging with prospective clients you will be discussing hiring needs at the most senior end of their business(es). Conversations will therefore be centred very much around strategy and projects will often be confidential - it is essential that you come with an ability to handle these often robust conversations.

An understanding of how to interpret data and utilise Microsoft Power BI is highly desirable.

Job Offer

Our client is looking to pay north of £60k through to £85k Base Salary dependant on experience with additional earning potential to be discussed at interview.

Hybrid working model, attendance at industry / business-wide events encouraged and a Central London office location.

I look forward to hearing from you.
