Reporting directly to their exceptional CFO, the Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance function across all areas. This role offers broad exposure to financial operations, strategic planning, and decision-making processes. As part of a small but high-performing team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with different departments and contribute to their continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements.
  • Assist in financial reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide support as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and support external audits.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the finance function.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a strong academic background.
  • Previous experience in either an outsourced environment with tech clients or within a fast-growth tech organisation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for learning and development.
