Working for a Software solutions provider your role as an Autodesk Software Application Developer will include applying bespoke software solutions to fit our clients' ever-changing needs. The company are based just outside of Birmingham with a mainly remote working arrangement.

Role Overview: As a Software Application Engineer, you will provide comprehensive Pre/Post Sales support, deliver training, and design, develop, and implement software solutions tailored to client needs using Autodesk products. Collaborating closely with clients and internal teams, you will troubleshoot issues and deliver high-quality software solutions and services.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop tailored software solutions using Autodesk applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, Fusion360, Vault just to name a few.
  • Work together with clients and internal teams to determine what project scopes will look like.
  • Produce and apply features aligning with project objectives.
  • Test and debug software applications along with providing technical support to clients during pre and post application stages.
  • Provide support from a pre-sales perspective for the aforementioned products, these can include technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Post-Sales training and consultancy support in part modelling, assemblies, sheet metal, static and dynamic motion analysis, routing and iLogic applications for the previously touched on Autodesk products.
  • Provide telephone helpdesk support for the Autodesk® product portfolio.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Sales Team to drive fresh business opportunities for Autodesk products.
  • Work with Autodesk® global technical teams to maintain existing Autodesk® accreditations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development, with a focus on Autodesk software applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .Net or similar.
  • Solid understanding of Autodesk APIs and customisation frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Autodesk certifications (ACP/ACI) is desirable but not required.
