Sales Team Lead/Head of Sales - Ed Tech

Competitive Salary plus commission

Hybrid + Central London location

My client is a high profile award winning Ed Tech brand. They are looking for an experienced SAAS salesperson and team lead to lead their Sales team and drive sales growth whilst leveraging other relative opportunities. Reporting to the CEO, the role requires a candidate with a background in B2B sales from the educational tech sector. Experience of leading a sales teams is essential.

Role-specific Responsibilities

  • Delivering the business plan for new business and renewal Sales.
  • Line management and coaching a small team.
  • Manage a small number of premium customer accounts (new business and renewals).
  • Develop strategies for sales, Client Success, marketing in collaboration with the SLT.
  • Maximise revenue via direct sales channels in the UK and indirectly through partnerships with resellers or other alliances.
  • Report on sales on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Focus on selling online as well as face-to-face sales activity including attendance at major trade shows.
  • Participate in the development of the company's vision, direction, aims and activities; plan and manage internal communication accordingly.

Experience required

  • Sales experience gained within a B2B, SAAS environment within Educational Tech industry.
  • Team Management experience
  • knowledge of integrated marketing campaigns would be a great benefit.
