Role Overview:

We are recruiting for a leading client in Thetford seeking a

Regulatory and Compliance Associate

  • This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the company operates within all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. You will monitor regulatory developments, implement compliance programs, and conduct audits to minimize risk while ensuring full compliance with internal policies and external requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage global product labelling and safety data sheets for the company's consumable products.
  • Support the preparation and submission of regulatory applications for biocidal products, REACh, and other related regulations.
  • Administer global biocidal regulatory authorizations and renewals, including applications for exemptions related to REACh.
  • Review and analyze extensive regulatory texts to extract and identify key information.
  • Provide internal guidance on the impact of regulations on both new and existing product technologies.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of global biocidal product regulations, REACh, Detergents Regulation, labeling (CLP), and MSDS requirements.
  • Assist with various compliance-related activities.
  • Advocate the company's position on relevant regulatory matters.
  • Provide support to the Head of R&D as needed.

Accountabilities:

The Regulatory and Compliance Associate will ensure the company's adherence to laws and regulations by developing and maintaining effective compliance programs, conducting thorough audits, delivering training, managing regulatory risks, and acting as the primary contact for regulatory authorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent, preferably in a scientific discipline.
  • Proven experience in Regulatory Affairs or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Regulatory certifications or accreditations are advantageous.
