The Company
Our client is a market leading specialist providing business critical services that support the IT infrastructure of some of the UKs largest companies. They are looking to appoint an experienced interim Procurement & Contract Manager to cover a busy period in the group.
The Role
- Working closely with internal stakeholders at Board level and suppliers, this role will oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and compliance
- Lead the day-to-day contract and procurement management of key IT and technology service providers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure adherence to contractual obligations
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts and agreements
- Take ownership of supplier procurement and commercial management across the IT
- Provide strategic guidance on contract terms and conditions to improve business outcomes
The Candidate
- Proven experience in contract management in the IT or technology sector
- Strong supplier negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain good relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and conscientious mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Proven experience in procurement and contract management, ideally in a fast-paced or regulated environment.
