The Role

We are looking for a driven and strategic Customer Development Manager (CDM) to join their growing team. In this role, you will represent their innovative product portfolio across the North of UK building strong relationships with existing and new customers through business development to drive profitable sales growth.

  • Promote and sell company products to existing and prospective customers.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual sales calls to drive growth and product placement.
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
  • Manage pricing, contracts, and customer relationships.
  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients.
  • Attend trade shows and represent the company at industry events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast sales and align on customer needs.

The Person

  • Degree or diploma in sciences or related field.
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience (specialty ingredients preferred).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and organisational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the North of the UK and company offices.
  • High-growth mindset with a track record of exceeding targets.
