Adnodd is a new company created by Welsh Government to secure easy access for all learners and teachers to innovative, high-quality, and bilingual resources that will enrich their experience of the Curriculum for Wales. Adnodd will provide strategic direction and work with practitioners and content creators across the education landscape to commission and quality assure the education resources that will help learners to succeed.

The Opportunity

Yolk Recruitment is supporting Adnodd to recruit a Commissioning and Quality Officer who will play a key role in shaping Adnodd's mission by ensuring the effective commissioning, procurement, and quality assurance of educational resources. You will contribute to operational planning and ensure delivery of timely, bilingual and high-quality resources.

The Role

Working dynamically within a cross-functional team, you will develop and implement strategies and plans for commissioning, quality assurance and stakeholder engagement that will secure timely delivery of high-quality, bilingual, innovative, accessible and inclusive resources to meet the needs of all learners aged 3 to 19.

You will both support and lead on the planning, delivery and evaluation of commissioning and quality assurance projects and activities, securing appropriate and effective involvement from stakeholders. You will use your initiative to focus on results, support continuous improvement and drive excellence through:

  • Resource Commissioning and Quality Assurance
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Risk Management, Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Meeting the needs of current and future learners

Requirements

The successful Commissioning and Quality Officer will possess the following experience, qualifications and attributes:

  • At least an intermediate level of Cymraeg (Welsh) is required for this role.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in commissioning, procurement, or related roles.
  • Ability to inform, influence, and coordinate partners and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with educational resource development and quality assurance.
  • Experience in project management and quality assurance processes.
  • Passion for education and commitment to bilingualism.
  • A good team player able to see and do what's needed to achieve positive overall outcomes.

  • Starting salary of £31,490
