Our client is a well established provider of civil construction methods who provide coverage across the UK. With a wide portfolio of domestic and commercial clients this has lead to a need within their finance team for a capable and driven Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. Who with excellent support and guidance will become an integral part of the company's growth and future success.
Your new role
With support and guidance from the financial controller you will provide support with the below, alongside study support for fast progression.
- Purchase Ledger (Sage 50).
- Credit Control
- Payroll (Sage Payroll) - Including detailed timesheet Assessment and Spreadsheeting Analysis
- Stock Costing / Asset Management
- Working towards full management of one of the satellite companies (Useful for skill progression)
- Support HMRC taxes and CIS
- Bank Reconciliation / Cash Book analysis
- Job Costing analysis
- Journalling / Accrual and prepayment preparation.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be numerically skilled with some experience in a financial environment or relevant certification.
Meticulous eye for detail and a good analytical mindset.
A good ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
A clear communicator, both written and verbal.
Ability to make time sensitive decisions in a busy environment.
Strong motivation and ability to learn skills quickly and to progress through certification.
What you'll get in return
ASAP start subject to interview.
Up to £25k depending on experience + study support for CIMA/ACCA
Clear route to progression
22 days holiday + Statuary holidays (With Christmas shut down).
