My client, a fast-growing retail company are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join their team and provide essential support to the department.
You will have a solid grounding in finance with a willingness to pursue a career in finance. This role will be reporting to the Head of Finance and will interact closely with various departments across the company.
The company operates a hybrid working policy and support study.
Key Duties
- Take responsibility for reviewing the end-to-end AP process in terms of ensuring invoices are being sent to the correct inboxes, that PO numbers are used, that queries are being answered in a timely manner
- Create new vendors in system and ensure supplier set up is correct
- Managing Petty Cash
- Inter-company reconciliations
- Raising Sales Invoices
- Posting Bank Payments
- VAT Returns
Requirements
- Strong excel skills
- Commercial mind-set
