Totum Partners is collaborating with a leading law firm to recruit a Legal Cashier to join their finance team. This presents a great opportunity for candidates with Legal Cashier experience who are keen to specialise in Client Cashiering and work collaboratively with the AP and billers in the team.
The ideal Legal Cashier would be responsible for:
- Processing client and office receipts.
- Setting up electronic payments.
- Ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
- Executing internal bank transfers.
- Calculating interest due on client account.
- Returning client balances.
- Supporting the accounts team with ad hoc tasks.
The ideal Legal Cashier will have the following experience:
- Previous experience in Legal Cashiering is essential.
- Familiarity with the solicitor's accounts rules.
- Prior experience in the legal sector is a must.
- Experience handling various currencies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
