Principal Ecologist

Location: Worcestershire

Salary: Circa £45,000

A well-established Ecological consultancy with over 35 years of experience is looking for a Principal Ecologist to manage projects, lead junior staff, and contribute to the growth of their business.

Principal Ecologist Role:

This consultancy has a diverse project portfolio, from retail and business parks to golf courses, to airports and shipping. In this role as a Principal Ecologist, you would be involved extensively in managing and delivering a range of Ecological projects and services, from Biodiversity Auditing, Ecological Impact Assessment and Protected Species Surveying, all the way through to Interpretation of UK Ecology Legislation. Client liaison will be a large focus of the role, as will the mentoring of more junior staff members.

Principal Ecologist Requirements:

  • Extensive experience within Ecological consultancy
  • Strong botanical skills (UKHab/NVC)
  • Protected Species Licence(s)
  • Project management experience
  • Full driving licence

Principal Ecologist Benefits:
