Innovative UK division of global manufacturing business have created a new role for a UK Finance Manager to lead finance for their growing division. You will manage a small team whilst working closely with the local SLT and wider peer group across Europe. The business are a true leader in their field, growing organically and via a number of strategic acquisitions.
Role
Key responsibilities will include;
- Business Partnering: Act as a guardian of the legal entity ensuring all financial numbers are trustworthy and accurate. Lead the presentation and structuring of local reports, driving improvements for financial KPIs with the support of business controllers.
- Performance Management: Spearhead process alignment and improvements at the local site. Enhance the closing process, focusing on accuracy and timeliness to secure the best estimates and avoid surprises.
- Compliance and Internal Controls: Maintain rigorous compliance, monitor the control framework, and ensure the integrity of local statutory filings. Provide expert advice on complex compliance and tax matters.
- FX & Commodity Hedging: Collaborate with Group Treasury to implement, monitor, forecast, and report on financial FX and metal risks.
- Innovation: Be a pioneer in creating interactions and improvements within the business unit. Support new ERP implementation and transition to a shared Service Centre post-migration.
