Homelessness Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Homelessness Support Worker to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is crucial in providing support to individuals facing mental health challenges and homelessness. The ideal candidate will have experience in mental health support, homelessness services, and relief work, and will be committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Engage with individuals experiencing homelessness to assess their needs and provide appropriate support.
- Work collaboratively with mental health professionals to deliver tailored support plans.
- Offer guidance, advocacy, and practical assistance to service users.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and support provided.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of service users at all times.
- Be flexible to work both day and night shifts as required by the service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience within mental health, homelessness, and relief work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work empathetically with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
