Document Controller
- Pay Rate: £15.55 - £18.00 PAYE or £19.16 - £22.28 Umbrella

- Job Type: Temporary (Hybrid - 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
We are looking for a Document Controller with a unique blend of skills, ideally suited for someone with a Paralegal background and a keen interest in document review and dispute resolution. This is not your typical Document Controller role; it is designed for individuals who have experience in contract work, particularly in construction claims, and who are investigative by nature with an interest in construction law.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct extensive fact-finding, including locating documents and records.
- Organize electronic files into a structured format for claim summarization.
- Support the review and preparation of court case documents.
- Collate high volumes of information and utilize search tools effectively.
- Work with various shared file systems and document control software.
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in contract work, specifically in construction claims.
- Investigative mindset with an interest in construction law.
- IT savvy with experience working with shared file systems.
- Familiarity with Viewpoint document control is preferred but not essential.
- Legal qualifications will be advantageous.
- Ability to work both in-office and remotely with a flexible approach.
