Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN.
- Assist with classroom activities and differentiated learning tasks.
- Support pupils with personal care needs, ensuring dignity and respect.
- Help manage behaviour and promote positive social interactions.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and pupil needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- Comfortable providing personal care when required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
- Ability to adapt to different environments and routines.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable.
