Power Platform Developer - Data Driven Business - Bristol (Hybrid)

I am currently working with a Bristol based company who are looking to hire a Power Platform Developer to join their fast growing Power Platform team!

They are looking for individuals with experience working on large projects, integrations and designing power app solutions, and who enjoy an analytical and methodical approach to working.

You will work alongside business stakeholders and internal clients, and develop innovative Power Platform solutions through all stages of the software development lifecycle!

Responsibilities

As a Power Platform Developer, you will play a vital role in design, development, testing, and release of new software solutions using Agile methodology. This will involve working with teams across IT - project, business analysis, architecture, Infrastructure, alongside business stakeholders & internal clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative Power Platform solutions through all stages of the Software development lifecycle
  • Development, configuration, and customisation of Power Pages, Power Automate processes, Power Apps and its associated components using plugins, custom workflow assemblies, as well as extended Azure/Office 365 functionality.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers to understand their business and technical requirements, documenting required components such as data structure, workflow, dependencies, and then develop a technical solution to meet their needs.
  • Working with the wider Microsoft stack such as LogicApps, Azure Service Bus, WebJobs, Power BI, AI Builder, Power Pages.
  • Integrating Power Apps and Power BI with various data sources, such as Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint, etc.
  • Develop Power Portals, Power Pages reports, and dashboards for both internal and external clients.

Your Skills And Experience:

  • Power Apps development (canvas apps, custom pages, model-driven apps).
  • Power Automate development.
  • Power Platform ALM and custom connectors.

Nice to Haves:

  • Azure Functions
  • HTML/CSS/JavaScript (in the Power Platform scope).
  • Microsoft SQL Server including T-SQL, SSRS and indexing/keys experience.
  • Dataverse including understanding of API and FetchXML.
  • PowerShell scripting.
  • Power Pages.
  • Power BI.
