Job Purpose
- Support a varied client portfolio, working closely with the senior management team to ensure expectations and deadlines are met
- Preparation of year-end accounts
- Preparation and supervision of year-end financial statements
- Support with financial management, work plannign and annual timetabling
- Build strong rapport with teams across the wider firm, ensuring clear and effective communication
- Coach and develop junior staff by reviewing work and championing skill sharing
- Use relevant software including CCH and Microsoft Office
- Liaise with clients, building trusted relationships and proactively handling queries
- Identify new processes and ways to increase efficiency
- Research and interpret changes to regulations
- Champion your own professional development, regularly undertaking training opportunities

Job Requirements
- ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified
- Qualified by experience within UK practice also considered
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress
- A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
- Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
- A hands-on team player who can manage their own workload to meet deadlines
- Commercial business acumen
