MUST have a UK driving licence (car provided)
- To complete basic written records and weekly timesheets. Ability to follow written instructions.
- Carrying out of organised visits and revisits as instructed to maximise the efficiency of the section.
- Handling payments including cash and following correct financial procedures.
- Assist other officers in drainage investigations and assist in carrying out remedial work including the sealing of drains.
- Assist other officers as necessary.
- To respond to environmental problems, including illegally dumped commercial, household garbage, animal carcasses and undertake clearance as directed.
- To undertake collection, loading and disposal of condemned foodstuffs as directed.
- To undertake clearance/ cleaning/ disinfection of noxious, verminous or contaminated articles and premises including faeces, sharps in both vacant properties and occupied as directed
- To complete records and job cards to a satisfactory standard.
- To inspect and maintain equipment in line with existing procedures and to instruction.
