NJR Recruitment is excited to partner with a growing independent insurance broker, soon to establish their new office in Stockport. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Account Handler to join their team.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment, handling substantial premiums and working closely with the Director and Senior Account Executive on key accounts.
As a Commercial Account Handler, you will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing client relationships, ensuring the highest level of service and support. You will be responsible for handling a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts, with a focus on premiums of £50k and above.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop relationships with a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with tailored solutions.
- Dealing with Renewals and Mid-term Adjustments on behalf of client accounts.
- Provide exceptional service to clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and efficiently.
- Work closely with the Director and Senior Account Executive on strategic accounts, contributing to the development and retention of key clients.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate terms with underwriters, and secure the best possible terms for clients.
- Ensure all client documentation is up-to-date and accurately maintained in Acturis.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a Commercial Account Handler role within an insurance brokerage.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and the ability to handle premiums of £50k and above.
- Proficient in using Acturis or similar insurance software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, supporting senior team members.
