Search PUBLIC SECTOR is currently recruiting for a number of C1 full UK licence holders based in and around Norfolk, East of England.
This role will be working within a Hospital, dealing with patients, staff, visitors and Trusts contractors. You will be Driving Trust vehicles to workshops and other vehicle repairers,
Main duties of the job
- Responsible for the safe collection and delivery of Trust vehicles.
- This is primarily from Trust locations to both Trust workshops and other designated vehicle repairers, although occasionally pickup from other locations is required.
- To ensure all vehicles are always driven in a safe and economical manner and in line with Trust policy, bearing in mind that the vehicles are easily identified as belonging to the Trust.
- To carryout extended road tests of vehicles during both collection and delivery to ensure the vehicles are ready for use by the trust. These hours of collection and delivery may be beyond what is recognised as a normal working hour, so flexibility on start and finish times and working days is required.
The ideal candidates must
- hold a current full and valid driving licence for the following classes B, C1, D1. The driving licence can have a maximum of 3 points at the beginning of their employment with the trust.
- Able to liaise effectively with staff and managers at all levels in the Trust, and with external organisations, face-to-face or over the telephone.
- Able to deal with a high volume of work whilst maintaining standards and meeting deadlines.
- Have experience within a customer service, vehicle environment or fleet experience.
