Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to join our team in South Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with a strong background in security engineering, installation, and commissioning of various systems.
Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of security systems such as Galaxy, Paxton, Texecom, Gallager, PAC, and other relevant systems
- Providing high-quality service and maintenance of fire and security systems
- Conducting preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
- Collaborating with clients to understand their security needs and providing effective solutions
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a security engineer with expertise in installing and commissioning security systems
- Familiarity with a range of security systems including Galaxy, Paxton, Texecom, Gallager, and PAC
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving license
Day-to-day
- Installing and commissioning security systems at client sites
- Providing service and maintenance for fire and security systems
- Collaborating with clients to understand their security needs and recommend suitable solutions
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional approach at all times
- Completing necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly
