Marketing Coordinator - 9 Month Maternity Cover

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns which contribute to the marketing strategy and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have knowledge across a wide range of marketing activities including branding, communications, advertising, social media, SEO, and design. The applicant must have a high level of attention to detail with strong organisational skills as you will be managing multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.

This is a maternity cover contract running from June 2024 to March 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the marketing strategy by undertaking campaigns and activities that meet marketing and business objectives
  • Uphold brand guidelines across all business activities, internally and externally to ensure consistent communications, messaging, and imagery
  • Support the sales team with marketing campaigns by planning and executing a range of marketing activities which contribute to the objective of the campaign
  • Update the website with news, product updates, case studies and technical articles when necessary using the CMS (Content Management System) and ensuring branding consistency
  • Create new content regularly to raise awareness of the company and improve our organic SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) ranking
  • Schedule regular engaging posts on LinkedIn to maintain and increase our followers, ultimately leading to raising awareness of the company and generating enquiries
  • Maintain relationships and regular contact with suppliers
  • Support the sales team with exhibition planning and management
  • Design adverts, leaflets, and other literature when required, applying branding guidelines and artwork best practices
  • Work with the Sales Manager and sales team to provide additional marketing support when requested
  • Occasional travel to work with teams at other locations and/or events

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in a marketing role or similar
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing platforms
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Photoshop or Adobe InDesign or similar
  • High level of attention to detail
