Our client is a large format print manufacturer who is looking for a keen and proficient person to join a busy and well organised (PC Based) art working studio. You will be providing readied artwork to the in house print team. You will be working with large corporate clients as well as general members of the public so they work types are very varied.
The duties include :
- To liaise with the Sales team and advise on artwork specifics.
- Understanding a brief from an order and creating a design to a brief that meets our production specifications.
- Ensuring artworks are prepared and laid out accurately and proofed to clients
- Recreation of customer designs for large format printing
- Making sure all art works are set ready for print production on a tight schedule.
- Regular communication with company clients to ensure tasks are approved on schedule and to ensure our clients are happy with the works, proofs, artwork & design specifications
Personal Specifications :
- The candidate should have a good sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- Be willing to learn on the job with an experienced team
- Attitude is everything in a small team so an open mind and a willingness to work is essential
Skill Requirements:
- The candidate should have some creative flair and design skill in order to offer clients a design service and help with the company's internal marketing and development projects.
- Good Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Good Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
- Good Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday
