Payroll Administrator (6 month FTC) potential for permanent

Our client is seeking an organised Payroll Administrator with strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the Payroll Manager in preparing and processing accurate monthly and biweekly payrolls for salaried staff and high-volume seasonal employees
What you'll do
- Processing & administration of monthly and biweekly payrolls
- Undertaking monthly reconciliations
- Ensuring all statutory reporting is completed within legislated deadlines
- Liaising with departments to ensure time sheets are correctly completed, authorised & received in line with payroll deadlines
- Accurately maintaining and updating all spreadsheets
- Calculating data as required, for example SSP/SMP
- Administration of Group Pension and Auto Enrolment Scheme
- Complying with Inland Revenue rules and regulations in respect of payroll
What you bring:
- Working knowledge of payroll systems
- Some knowledge of Auto Enrolment, pension schemes, and current legislation
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Previous payroll experience in a similar role
