As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of clients and providing them with top-notch accounting services. In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Taking care of a portfolio of clients and ensuring compliance deadlines are met.
- Reviewing work done by assistants.
- Preparing accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax returns for filing at Companies House and HMRC.
- Conducting bookkeeping for clients using Free Agent, Xero, and QuickBooks.
- Training junior members of the team.
- Handling client communications both written and verbally.
- managing inbound and outbound post effectively.
- Invoicing clients accurately and on time.
- Assisting clients with tax planning.
- Registering clients for relevant taxes with HMRC.
- Keeping Companies House records up to date for clients.

- Working knowledge of accounting systems and software.
