Our client is seeking a Mechanical Production Fitter with the aspiration to progress into a field service role.
Mechanical Production Fitter.
Salary: £28,000 - £33,000
The shift pattern: Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm
Overview: Duties will include Service strip and repair, Heavy/technical builds, General housekeeping and 5S projects.
The Role:

Service strip and repair

Make units ready for strip and report

Strip units as per specification and report findings

Warranty investigation

Repair units as per production order instructions

Unit test and report
-
Heavy/technical builds
-
Complete build of technical or heavy units (including Series G,H,E,J, etc.)

Personnel development

Apprentice mentor

New starter integration

Knowledge sharing

Project assessment analysis

Site sales support

Pre site checks

Project planning support

Site Service Engineer

Provide on-site product support and installation

Identify, analyse and repair product failure

Communicate and co-ordinate failure response

Provide technical product training and basic user functionality training to customer base

Completion of site visit reports
The Successful Candidate:
- Site service experience would be of an advantage
- Must hold a valid UK Driving licence
- FLT Licence is essential
- Basic electrical training
- Attention to Detail
- Self-motivated
