Digital Marketing Manager

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing or Ecommerce professional to join a market leading brand with an outstanding commitment to Sustainable Development, who have placed sustainability at the heart of its long-term business strategy and Net Zero ambition. You will be working in the Nuneaton area with hybrid working available.

Reporting to our Marketing Director, you'll be responsible for owning the Digital Marketing Strategy and to execute the Digital Marketing and eCommerce strategies, with focus on acquisition and conversion. You will have the support of two Digital Marketing Executives and a remit covering E-commerce, marketplaces, performance marketing, website content and user experience.

You will be a senior manager with the wider marketing team, working together across aligned Brand Strategy and Communications planning and execution across all brand and customer channels. This is a dynamic business that is growing and ambitious, so you will have the opportunity to really drive the improvement of their digital performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Marketing Strategy and Execution - Oversee or directly manage e-commerce, marketplaces and performance marketing channels across PPC, SEO, affiliates, email marketing. Integrating with marketing team colleagues on aligned activity across other brand and digital activity to optimise customer journeys
  • E-commerce – own the trading plan and sale/ profit performance of their directly managed online store
  • CRO/ UX - Ongoing review of online user experience and analytics data
  • Campaign Management - Manage and review performance marketing activity to increase brand awareness, sales and generate new leads
  • Content - Assist with the creation and execution of online content to improve the website user experience, including blog content, FAQs and product category landing pages
  • Marketplaces - Continuously make improvements to eBay and Amazon product listings
  • Website - Maintain website data using the Content Management System (Adobe Magento)
  • Reporting - Report on marketing and sales performance - weekly, monthly, and quarterly
  • Analytics - Use digital analytics tools such as GA4, Hot Jar to measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns; including sales, promotions, emails, visitor traffic
  • Management – Work closely with Digital agencies and manage a Digital Marketing budget with input into a wider marketing team budget

Key Requirements

This role would suit an experienced Digital Marketing professional with an interest in consumer behaviour and how brands can influence behaviour change. You will have significant experience in a similar eCommerce/ Digital Marketing role and ideally have a working knowledge of Magento and Marketplace experience (eBay, Amazon).

Knowledge and experience of implementing digital performance marketing concepts such as PPC, SEO, Affiliate marketing would help, however you do have assistance from agencies to deliver in these areas. You will be an organised, assertive, self-starter with lots of initiative and able to motivate a small team where you lead from the front.
