Shift Patterns: 37.5hrs per week over a 7-day period between the hours of 8am and 8pm

Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust are currently looking for an experienced CBT to join their OPS Division Manager at Parkside House. Within this clinical post, you will use your knowledge in applying specialist therapy to a caseload of patients, using model-specific skills for moderate to severe anxiety, depression, single and complex trauma.

Ideally, you will be skilled and competent in using therapy skills for assessment, formulation and interventions in order to deliver evidence based psychological interventions for a range of mental health difficulties, eg. Anxiety, moderate to severe depression, OCD, single and complex trauma, health anxiety, body dysmorphia, eating difficulties, chronic panic.

What you can add:

  • To provide evidence based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy assessment and treatment to children, young people (CYP) and their families who have complex mental health difficulties.
  • To work autonomously within professional guidelines and within the overall framework of the Trust policies and procedures.
  • To administer a range of routine outcome measures (ROMs), record on Carenotes and utilise in clinical meaningful way to inform care.
  • To regularly review and monitor outcomes of assessment and effects of treatment in line with goal-based outcomes and the care programme approach (CPA).
  • To evaluate and make decisions about treatment options, taking into account both theoretical and therapeutic models and highly complex factors concerning historical and developmental processes that have shaped the family.
  • What you'll need:
  • High Intensity IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) Post-Graduate Diploma (Masters).
  • BABCP Registration
  • Experience of working with people with a variety of mental health presentations
  • Specialist mental health and psychological knowledge and skills in relation to moderate to severe anxiety disorders, depression, single and complex trauma.
  • The post involves travelling across Coventry and Warwickshire to meetings as required, so must be a car driver.
