Butler Rose is working with a large FTSE250 organisation in their search for a Commercial manager to join their Team. This is a three month contract role and will pay up to £400 PAYE day rate. This is a hybrid role (3 days in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh office)
The Commercial Manager will work closely with various support functions and dedicated contract roles to deliver and manage commercial solutions, providing day-to-day commercial management support to contract teams. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying and managing legal, financial, and commercial risks and opportunities in collaboration with the contract team. Additionally, you will promote the adoption of commercial best practices and ensure compliance with internal governance policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise contract teams on commercial queries, including interpreting contract terms, risks, liabilities, payment mechanisms, KPIs, and scope requirements to enhance efficiency and reduce scope creep.
- Ensure risk and opportunity registers are maintained, with clear action plans for all items, and take direct responsibility for managing these risks and opportunities.
- Support account teams with contract variations and change orders, ensuring they are executed in accordance with contract requirements and internal policies.
- Provide commercial management expertise on a wide range of issues, including contract performance, variations, dispute resolution, and defect management.
- Promote commercial best practices and ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
Ideal Candidate:
