Description

  • Ensure timely collection of payments in accordance with established procedures
  • Resolve billing and customer credit issues
  • Update account status records and collection efforts
  • Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status
  • Maintain customer trust relationships
  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Regularly review the company's debt recovery procedures
  • Liaise with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field
  • Familiarity with laws related to debt collection
  • Proficiency in MS Office and databases
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and persuasion skills
  • High levels of integrity and professionalism
