Description
- Ensure timely collection of payments in accordance with established procedures
- Resolve billing and customer credit issues
- Update account status records and collection efforts
- Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status
- Maintain customer trust relationships
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Regularly review the company's debt recovery procedures
- Liaise with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field
- Familiarity with laws related to debt collection
- Proficiency in MS Office and databases
- Excellent communication, negotiation and persuasion skills
- High levels of integrity and professionalism
