Key Responsibilities of Commercial Insurance Broker:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of SME and Corporate insurance clients
- Process client accounts using Acturis insurance software
- Develop strong relationships with Leeds businesses through regular contact
- Identify insurance gaps and client exposures in commercial sectors
- Negotiate with insurers for new business, renewals, and policy amendments
- Achieve high client retention rates (>90%) and new business conversion
- Provide expert commercial insurance advice to Leeds-based businesses
Requirements for Commercial Insurance Broker:
- Proven experience in commercial insurance broking, especially with SME clients
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and market trends
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Acturis or similar insurance broking systems
