Title: Accounts Payable Clerk - Location: Denton - Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
I am delighted to be recruiting an Accounts Payable clerk for a fantastic client of mine in the Denton area. From working with this company previously, I can see why employees love to work here... which is why there is a large amount who have been with the company for over 30 years!! In this role you will get the opportunity to run with the AP function, taking pride in the ledger.
This role would be suitable to someone who adores everything AP, and wants to get stuck into this type of role. Although this role is titled as AP, this is a collaborative team, and opportunity to develop in future can be possible ??
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day support for the Purchase Ledger function
- Training and upskilling in the role to cope with increasing demands and a growing business
- Pricing invoices to the ledger accurately
- Work with the Purchase Ledger manager to resolve any queries
- Intercompany reconciliations and adjustments
- Month end supplier reconciliation and payment proposals
- Credit cards and expenses
- Ad hoc reporting and support as required.
Key Requirements
- Computer literate, ideally with experience on Sage200.
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role or within an accounting dept
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Desire to develop and grow via on the job training (plus external training as required)
- Demonstrates Teamwork, Trust, Integrity and Hard Work
- Fits into the team and acts as a team player supporting where needed
