My client is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to join their team. This role will involve a mix of office-based sales activities and fieldwork, including site visits, surveys, and face-to-face customer meetings, along with ongoing training.
Role Overview:
- Generate sales from existing project pipeline opportunities and actively prospect for new business across designated sectors and end users.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to target relevant industrial sectors and grow sales with new, existing, and dormant customers.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and broader team to contribute to the strategic growth of our product and service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve personal sales targets and objectives.
- Report daily on sales activity, including quotations and results.
- Take ownership of key accounts, focusing on generating new business.
- Proactively generate leads through calls and utilising lead generation tools.
- Prepare and present customer quotations in line with industry standards.
- Follow up on quotations and log customer feedback in the project tracking database.
- Attend monthly review meetings to analyse performance and refine sales strategies.
- Conduct on-site surveys as needed to provide accurate quotations.
- Develop major new accounts, including contractors, installers, and end users.
- Undertake additional sales development tasks as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to interpret technical information and drawings.
- Experience in solution-based selling is preferred.
- A proactive and growth-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with the construction industry is advantageous.
- Full UK driving license.
- Capable of working independently and within a team environment.
- Proficiency in using CAD and CRM systems (or equivalent).
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
