Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that's quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and due to growth into various export markets they are looking for a Material Controller to join their supply chain team.

Role & Responsibilities:
Ensuring materials are available to meet customer demand, production planning, project requirements and new product introduction

Ensuring work processes are adapted to ever changing situations

Manage material and inventory requirement activities across production demand, liaising with suppliers and cross functional teams

Liaising with internal departments in the business, developing and implementing business changes and stocking strategies

Liaising with suppliers, supporting them developing departmental targets

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Relevant degree level qualified with substantial experience in materials management and supply chain development
Experience in materials and inventory management strategies with the ability to develop and continuously improve aiming for best in class and operational excellence surrounding materials management
Working towards or with a desire to work towards a CIPS qualification

Benefits Package:
£33,000 - £36,000
